Business Manager
Responsibilities:
- To
attend all General and Board Meetings
- To
submit a budget at the first Board meeting of the season
- To
ensure proper insurance coverage for the theater
- To
work with the Treasurer to prepare tax forms
- To
review all aspects of business procedures, policies, financial reports
- To
make recommendations to the Board as needed on above
- To
file grant applications and grant-related filings
- To
obtain all permits and certifications necessary for business operations
- To
submit an annual report at the end of the year
The
Business Manager is responsible for obtaining and paying for permits,
certifications, licenses, and taxes as necessary to ensure that the corporation
continues to function. The Business Manager handles all affairs and relationships
pertinent to local, state, and federal government. The Business Manager
also oversees projects as designated by the Board and oversees the preparation
of grant applications and grant-related documents.
