Board of Directors Job Descriptions
Elections for the Board of Directors are held each year at the general meeting in June. All terms are for one year. If you are interested in running for a Board position or in serving on a standing committee, please email the Member at Large at memberatlarge@footlighters.com.
The Board of Directors meets once a month at the Playhouse. The Board makes governance decisions for the organization, maintains the playhouse, and approves budgets and extraordinary expenditures.

The Board reserves the right to add or remove positions on the Board that are not required by Massachusetts Law (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer).

These positions are not on the Board of Directors but they are important to the operation of the theatre.

Subscriptions Manager
There are usually two to three open slots on the Play Committee each year. Play Committee members are responsible for reviewing scripts, choosing the upcoming season and alternate selections, and interviewing and selecting directors for the next season.
