Public Relations Manager
The Public Relations Manager is responsible for developing and distributing print publicity for each production and for general theater activities. Audition notices, events, productions, and general news articles are part of the regular publicity events. The Public Relations Manager works with a graphic artist to produce posters and post cards which are additionally used by others for electronic publicity. The Public Relations Manager holds the relationship with vendors who develop the brochure and who take publicity photos and head shots, and s/he arranges that these are done. S/he orders print material (posters; post cards; brochures) and may provide additional personal promotions for cast members.
The Public Relations Manager is also the media spokesperson for the Walpole Footlighters, Inc., with the approval of the President and the Board of Directors. S/he is also the Footlighters point of contact for those outside of the organization via the [email protected] email.

Responsibilities:
- To attend all General and Board Meetings
- To provide certain media (newspapers, cable TV, radio, etc.) with notices of upcoming theater productions, auditions, newsworthy events, and advertising
- To write press releases
- To contract a photographer for head and lobby shots, as well as promotional photos
- To coordinate photos with the graphical vendor for promotional and production materials
- To arrange for reviewers' tickets for each production if asked
- Make photos and material available for the Social Media Manager, Publications Manager, and Secretary
- Respond to inquiries via the [email protected] email and forward to the appropriate Board member.
