Treasurer
The Treasurer is responsible for keeping all financial records, making appropriate deposits and payments, and tracking expenses for the Footlighters, including itemizing for each production. The Treasurer is the point of contact with the banks and the accountant. The Treasurer is responsible for tax preparation.
The Treasurer orders all of the scripts and pays the royalties for each production at the start of the fiscal year, and works with the Box Office Manager to audit receivables for subscription sales and ticket sales.
Responsibilities:
The position of Treasurer requires computer skills and basic accounting skills. Familiarity with or willingness to learn QuickBooks is essential.

Responsibilities:
- To attend all General and Board Meetings
- To order the scripts for all productions for the upcoming season at the start of the fiscal year.
- To submit a budget at the first Board meeting of the season
- To keep all Footlighters financial records
- To pay all bills as authorized, including member reimbursements
- To file all tax forms at the appropriate deadlines
- To prepare a financial report for each production
- To provide a monthly Treasurer's Report to the Board at each meeting
- To submit an annual report at the end of the year
- To make all deposits, including dues and ticket sales
- To prepare the end-of-year statements for the accountant's review
