Walpole Footlighters Productions 1924 - present
The Walpole Footlighters have performed continuously since 1924, providing Walpole and the surrounding towns with quality community theater at an affordable price. The Footlighters have always performed both older plays and new scripts. Take a look at our past productions; you'll see a mirror of theater trends and new works as well as old favorites.
We're adding to this section all the time. We have a huge archive of photos, reviews, and programs from previous productions. We've tried to put some of them in digital form for your enjoyment.
If you have photos, programs, or other artifacts of the Footlighters past shows that you would like to share with us, please let us know!

A few trivia tidbits:
- We've done a version of Enchanted April twice, once in 1931 using a script by Kane Campbell and again in 2008 with a new script by Matthew Barber.
- We've performed Blithe Spirit three times, the first in 1945 shortly after the play was first performed in New York.
- Harvey by Mary Chase, about the 6-foot tall imaginary rabbit, has been performed twice.
- Our first musical of record was One Touch of Venus in 1965. We then did The Fireman's Flame in 1967. The next musical was twenty-five years later, with 1992's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Since 1997, we've done a musical every season in either October or May.
- From 1935 to 1962, John Goss directed every show for a total of 74 shows!
- We've done only three plays by Agatha Christie, The Mousetrap, Towards Zero, and The Hollow. But we've done fourteen plays and musicals by Neil Simon, including two productions of Barefoot in the Park.
