Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for recording Board and general membership meeting minutes as well as the general correspondence with members and other appropriate individuals, including donors. The Secretary is responsible for delivering an up-to-date membership list to members and/or the Board as requested. The Secretary is responsible for emailing notices of upcoming meetings to the Board, and other notices to the general membership.
Responsibilities:
The position of Secretary requires computer skills (basic word processing and mailing list software).
Responsibilities:
- To attend and actively participate in all General and Board Meetings
- To take minutes at Board of Directors meetings and distribute them to Board members
- To take minutes at General Membership meetings and distribute them to members and/or deliver them to the newsletter editor
- To email notices to members and other mailing lists throughout the year (i.e. audition notices; announcements; help solicitations)
- To conduct general correspondence (i.e. thank you and other requested letters)
- To provide donation acknowledgements via the current ticketing software which include codes for obtaining allowed free tickets
