Almost, Maine
by John Cariani Directed by Frank Moffett October 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 at 8:00 PM October 18, 25 at 2:00 PM Starring (in order of appearance): Michael Begg, Jennifer Fenlon, Ken Carberry, Cindy Belle, Maryanne Truax, Tara Mansour, Ed Churchill, Dan Baker, Steven Small, David Perelman, Elaine Bono, and Moira Collins. On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend--almost--in this delightful midwinter night's dream. |
Incorruptible
A Dark Comedy about the Dark Ages by Michael Hollander Directed by Roger Campbell February 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20 at 8:00 PM February 14, 21 at 2:00 PM Starring Steve Small, Peter McElhinney, Paul MacPhee, Michael Dornish, Ed Churchill, Ninette Cummings, Colleen Lavery, Christine Grudinskas In Priseaux, France, c. 1250 A.D.: The river flooded again last week. The chandler's shop just burned to the ground. Nobody's heard of the wheelbarrow yet. And Ste. Foy, the patron of the local monastery, hasn't worked a miracle in thirteen years. In other words, the Dark Ages still look pretty dark. All eyes turn to the Pope, whose promised visit will surely encourage other pilgrims to make the trek and restore the abbey to its former glory. That is, until a rival church claims to possess the relics of Ste. Foy—and "their" bones are working miracles. All seems lost until the destitute monks take a lesson from a larcenous one-eyed minstrel, who teaches them an outrageous new way to pay old debts. "full of physical comedy and one-liners....two hours of good fun" -- Wicked Local Raynham "a hilariously funny evening at the theatre" -- Brockton Enterprise |
