Publications Manager
The Publications Manager is responsible for producing the Footlighters' newsletter, Curtain Up!. The newsletter is currently published monthly with the exception of July/August which is combined, as is December/January. The Publications Manager is responsible for soliciting content from members of the Board of Directors and other members, creating the newsletter, and distributing it via email to members and subscribers. The Publications Manager also works with the directors and production managers of each of the season's productions to create the program books. Once approved, the Publications Managers sends the copy-ready .pdf file of the programs to the printers in time for the Open Dress Rehearsal.
Note: The position of Publications Manager requires computer skills and familiarity or willingness to learn Constant Contact (for the newsletter) and Microsoft Publisher (for the programs), both of which will be supplied by the Footlighters.

Responsibilities:
- To attend all General and Board Meetings
- To solicit contributions for the newsletters from members of the Board of Directors, production staff, and the general membership
- To design and create the newsletter (Curtain Up!) for the general membership and the subscribers and distribute via email
- To obtain all information necessary for the program books for all three productions each season
- Create the program books and coordinate a review by the appropriate production team members
- Provide .pdf files of the program to the approved printers in enough time for the programs to be back to the theater in time for the Open Dress Rehearsal Preview
