Information Stephen Lee will be playing Henry Etches in Titanic the Musical at Eastern Nazarene College. This show runs October 17th through the 26th. Anthony Liapis is designing lighting for The Game's Afoot or Holmes for the Holidays with Roundabout Productions at the Marilyn Rodman Center for the Performing Arts in Foxboro. Several Footlighters are performing in the Gazebo Players production of Hamlet this summer. Peter Bradley and Barbara Schapiro play Claudius and Gertrude. Cynthia Small is Polonia, Juli Small is Osric and the Player Queen. Steve Small is the Stage Manager. Hamlet is performed July 23 and 24 in Medfield, July 30 and 31 in Medway, and August 6 and 7 in Walpole. Cynthia Small and Ashley Harmon recently appeared in Steel Magnolias at the Mansfield Music and Arts Society (MMAS).
Peter Bradley will appear in Scrooge: The Musical with the Riverside Theatre Works. He will also run in the 20th Annual Somerville Homeless Coalition 5K Road Race. Marianne Phinney will appear in It's a Wonderful Life at MMAS. Several Footlighters members are working on the Gazebo Players' production of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale this summer. The show is directed by Marianne Phinney. Christine Grudinskas is the Assistant Director. The cast includes Footlighters Barbara Schapiro as Paulina, Cameron Small as the Clowne and the Sound Designer, and Cynthia Small as Old Shepherd. Past member Ben Madeiros plays Polyxenes. The sound operator is Tony Liapis. The show will be performed in three parks this summer: Medfield's Gazebo Park, Choate Park in Medway, and Bird Park in Walpole. Paul Collins and former Footlighter Diana Doyle are part of the cast of Lend Me a Tenor at The Center for the Arts in Natick (TCAN). Paul plays Tito and Diana plays, surprisingly enough, Diana. The show runs June 13 - June 27. Peter McElhinney will appear as Axel Magee in the Milton Players production of "Don't Drink the Water" January 31-February 9. The cast also includes former Footlighters David Giagrando, Jim Merlin, and Cathy Larson. The production is directed by Richard Alvin White. Peter Bradley, Claire Lukaczyn, and Barbara Schapiro performed this past summer in William Shakespear's The Tempest with The Gazebo Players of Medfield. Marianne Phinney was the Stage Manager for The Dining Room at Amazing Things in Framingham. Tony Liapis did the lighting design. The play was directed by Paul Dixon. Paul Campbell recently performed in August: Osage County at the Footlight Club in Jamaica Plain, which was directed by Frank Moffett. |
